Onsite Health Coaching empowers healthy choices
Offering health screenings to employees is the first step toward improving your population’s health. However, many individuals, especially the 13% of Americans who do not have a “usual place to go for medical care,” may not know what to do with the information they receive.1 Onsite Health Coaching from Quest Diagnostics helps enhance fingerstick health screenings by giving your employees the opportunity to ask a Health Coach questions immediately after receiving their results.
During the 5-10-minute coaching session, each participant will set a unique health goal, as well as commit to a plan detailing how to achieve that goal. Then, Health Coaches will suggest general and employer-specific resources to help employees achieve their goals. This means that Health Coaches can help funnel individuals into your unique tobacco cessation program, fitness challenge, and/or other population health offerings.
To extend the encounter outside of the screening event, each participant will also receive an interactive workbook with tips for disease management healthy habits. The Health Coach will encourage the participant to focus on certain pages of the workbook that correspond with the desired health goal.
